Finance, railways, urban affairs, communication and home among some are making an influential impact in government-to-citizen (G2C) and Government-to-enterprises (G2E) services while direct benefit transfer (DBT), driven by the finance ministry is among national schemes, complementing the government’s vision, which is called tech-economy. They are considered to be top ministries in Central government, leading administrative reforms to forward using technology. The Union budget this year emphasized the new age technologies and its capacities. Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, in the budget 2020, presented a new vision of the tech-economy with patents, data centers, quantum technologies and connectivity.“Artificial intelligence, Internet-of-Things, 3D printing, drones, DNA data storage, and quantum computing are rewriting the world economic order,” said Sitharaman while underlining that India is embracing technologies by sharing economy with aggregators that are displacing conventional businesses.
